An ode to space travel.
Built upon a long time fascination for rockets and aviation, «Tall Rise» pays homage to mankind’s dawning existence in the vast nothingness of ever-expanding outer space.

Recorded on a battery powered modular system during a continental flight to the historic town of Brno, Feldermelder’s nearly 24-minute piece symbolises the never ending ascent of a ship being launched. Over time, the balance between mechanical and organic sounds shifts gradually, just as the atmospheric friction changes on the journey.
